“I can truly say that would not be the person that I am today, had I not met you. You are one of the strongest, most positive, genuine people that I have ever met. In your 22 years, you lived every day to its fullest – all the way to the end. You are amazing. I feel so lucky to be able to call you one of my best friends, Stefan. Thinking of you today and always.”   – Alex Saunders

“Memories keep flashing in front of me, each one with a reminder of how Stefan lived life with such a strong spirit and a kind heart. I can’t think of a time when he wasn’t smiling or have a good laugh, even in the midst of battle on the football pitch. Soccer has a knack of bring out the true character of players, and Stefan’s play on the field certainly reflected his personality off of it. His will and determination never let up, and ever bit of hustle was matched by a whole lot of love and humility. Playing outside back behind stefan was easy, as I knew I could trist him to cover me if I slippled up or made a mistake, While it has been a shile since we last wore the Far Post colors, I will always remember Stefan as the truly admirable and amazing person he was and the symbol of strength and positivity he is.”    – Luke Dorfman

“Just looked at all the wonderful posts and pictures everyone is sharing on your wall and shed many tears. I can’t help but notice in nearly every post or photo someone mentions your smile or charisma that engulfed any room you were in, and every one of those people are right…. It is only now that many of us realize that we can only hold onto our shared memories with you. All we can do now is emulate the fervor that you displayed. ”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    – Alex Corrada

The word pure keeps coming back when I think about Stefan. Just what people should strive to be as human beings and to each other – good people. Stefan influenced a lot of people and will continue to do so for a very long time. An owl has all of these qualities: intelligence, brilliance, perspective, intuition, quick-wit, independence, wisdom, ability to protect, and power, All qualities that come to mind when I think of Stefan and how he chose to live his life, despite the hard battles he was faced with. …. “Love you buddy – till the next time I see you, I’ll keep a place open for you always in my heart.”  – Willy Judge

“Stefan always had huge character. He was a fighter who taught many people true courage and bravery. Throughout the years, I never saw him without a smile on his face. He lived life how it should be lived, as a gift. Back in high school a bunch of us were on what is now known as “the island.” We were arguing over who was sleeping were, and Stefan walks into a huge fight among friends. He walks in with a big ol’ Stefan smile and just shouts “Ayyy!” Out of nowhere the kid reminded everyone we were there to celebrate. And that is the way he lived, every day as a celebration. I will always remember that and how you taught me that you cannot waste one day not being happy. I will strive to live each day the “Stefan way.” Miss you buddy.”     – Tanner Choiniere
